Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County
In May, 2013, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) will be published by the American Psychiatric Association. While much is not know about the exact specifics related to the new diagnostic criteria, what is know is that everything that clinicians once knew about diagnosis will change. This session will provide participants with the latest information on the DSM-5, including changes to the multiaxial system, changes in personality disorders, and changes related to Autism Spectrum Disorders. The session will also allow for participants to ask questions about the various changes to the diagnostic criteria. 2 CEUs
